Ingredients
Medjool dates: 20 pieces
Whole almonds: 20
Almond butter: 1/4 cup (optional)
Sea salt: a pinch (optional)
Honey for drizzling: 1 tbsp (optional)
Directions
1. Carefully make a lengthwise slit on one side of each Medjool date and remove the pit.
2. Insert a whole almond into the center of each pitted date.
3. If using almond butter, use a small spoon to fill the slit with a bit of almond butter after inserting the almond.
4. Lightly sprinkle a pinch of sea salt over the stuffed dates, if desired.
5. Drizzle honey over the dates for added sweetness, if you like.
6. Arrange the stuffed dates on a serving plate and enjoy!
