Ingredients
4 sirloin steaks
1 tbsp olive oil
Salt to taste
Black pepper to taste
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup grated mozzarella cheese
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp unsalted butter
1 tsp Dijon mustard
1/2 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (optional for garnish)
Directions
1. Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
2. Rub the sirloin steaks with olive oil and season generously with salt and black pepper.
3. Grill or sear the steaks for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness. Remove from heat and let them rest.
4. In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter.
5. Add the minced garlic to the butter and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
6. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
7. Stir in the grated Parmesan and mozzarella cheeses until they are completely melted and the sauce is smooth.
8. Add the Dijon mustard, paprika, and ground nutmeg, stirring to combine.
9. Allow the sauce to simmer gently for a few minutes, stirring occasionally, until it thickens to your liking.
10. Serve the sirloin steaks topped with the cheese sauce. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
