Ingredients
1 cup flour
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 cup sesame seeds
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tbsp milk
Directions
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking soda, and sesame seeds.
3. In another bowl, beat the butter until creamy. Add the vegetable oil, egg, and vanilla extract, and mix until well combined.
4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
5. Add the milk and mix until the dough comes together.
6. Scoop small spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
7. Flatten each cookie slightly with the back of a spoon or your fingers.
8. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
9. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
