Olive oil benefits: homemade recipe

Ingredients

Extra virgin olive oil: 1 tbsp per serving
Fresh lemon juice: 1 tbsp
Garlic cloves: 2-3 cloves, minced
Fresh rosemary: 1 tsp, chopped
Fresh thyme: 1 tsp, chopped
Sea salt: 1/2 tsp
Black pepper: 1/2 tsp
Honey: 1 tsp (optional for sweetness)
Diced tomatoes: 1 cup (for serving, optional)

Directions

1. In a small bowl, combine the extra virgin olive oil and fresh lemon juice.
2. Add the minced garlic, chopped rosemary, chopped thyme, sea salt, and black pepper to the bowl.
3. If desired, mix in the honey for a touch of sweetness.
4. Stir the mixture well to combine all the ingredients.
5. Serve immediately over diced tomatoes if desired, or use as a dressing or marinade.
