meatballs: homemade recipe

Ingredients

1 pound ground beef
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup milk
1 large egg
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp dried oregano
1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

Directions

1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, milk, egg, garlic, onion, parsley, salt, black pepper, dried oregano, and crushed red pepper flakes.

3. Mix the ingredients thoroughly until well combined. You can use your hands for better mixing.

4. Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1 to 1.5 inches in diameter. You should get around 24 meatballs.

5. Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or lightly greased.

6. Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes, or until they are cooked through and browned on the outside.

7. Remove from the oven and serve immediately, or add to your favorite sauce and simmer for a few minutes before serving.
