Mango Habanero Sauce for Spicy Chicken Wings: homemade recipe

Ingredients

2 cups chopped mango
2-4 habanero peppers, seeded and chopped
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
1/4 cup lime juice
2 tbsp honey
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp salt

Directions

1. In a blender or food processor, combine the chopped mango, seeded and chopped habanero peppers, apple cider vinegar, lime juice, honey, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt.
2. Blend the mixture until it becomes smooth.
3. Pour the blended mixture into a saucepan.
4. Heat the saucepan over medium heat.
5. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer, stirring occasionally.
6. Let it simmer for about 10-15 minutes or until the sauce thickens slightly.
7. Remove the saucepan from heat and let the sauce cool to room temperature.
8. Transfer the sauce to a jar or container and refrigerate until ready to use.
