KFC Rustic Potatoes: homemade recipe

Ingredients

4 large russet potatoes
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp dried oregano
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper

Directions

1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
2. Wash and scrub the russet potatoes thoroughly.
3. Cut each potato into wedges, aiming for 8 wedges per potato.
4. In a large bowl, combine the vegetable oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, dried oregano, and cayenne pepper.
5. Add the potato wedges to the bowl and toss them until they are evenly coated with the oil and seasoning mixture.
6. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
7. Arrange the seasoned potato wedges in a single layer on the baking sheet.
8. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, turning the wedges halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.
9. Remove from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving.
