Ingredients
4 salmon fillets (6 ounces each)
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp lemon zest
1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
Directions
1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
2. In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, salt, black pepper, minced garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, fresh dill, paprika, and cayenne pepper (if using). Mix well to create the marinade.
3. Brush the salmon fillets with the marinade, ensuring they are evenly coated.
4. Let the salmon marinate for 10-15 minutes at room temperature.
5. Once the grill is ready, lightly oil the grates to prevent sticking.
6. Place the salmon fillets on the grill, skin side down (if they have skin).
7. Grill the salmon for about 4-5 minutes per side, depending on the thickness, until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
8. Remove the salmon from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
