Grilled Chicken Breasts: homemade recipe

Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1/4 cup olive oil
2 tbsp lemon juice
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp dried basil
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp smoked paprika

Directions

1. In a medium bowl, combine the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, dried oregano, dried basil, salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika.
2. Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish.
3. Pour the marinade over the chicken breasts, ensuring they are fully coated.
4. Seal the bag or cover the dish, then refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to marinate.
5. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
6. Remove the chicken from the marinade, allowing any excess to drip off.
7. Place the chicken breasts on the preheated grill.
8. Grill the chicken for about 6-7 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
9. Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
