Flours and Alternative Doughs to Wheat: and Procedure: homemade recipe

Ingredients

2 cups rice flour
1 cup tapioca starch
1 cup potato starch
2 tsps xanthan gum
1 tsp salt
2 tsps baking powder
1 tbsp sugar
1/4 cup olive oil
1 1/4 cups warm water

Directions

1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. In a large mixing bowl, combine 2 cups of rice flour, 1 cup of tapioca starch, and 1 cup of potato starch.
3. Add 2 teaspoons of xanthan gum, 1 teaspoon of salt, 2 teaspoons of baking powder, and 1 tablespoon of sugar to the bowl. Mix well until all dry ingredients are evenly distributed.
4. Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients.
5. Pour 1/4 cup of olive oil into the well.
6. Gradually add 1 1/4 cups of warm water to the mixture, stirring constantly to combine. Continue to mix until a smooth dough forms. If the dough is too sticky, add a little more rice flour; if too dry, add a bit more water.
7. Turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead it for a few minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.
8. Shape the dough as desired, either into rolls, a loaf, or another form.
9. Place the shaped dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
10. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the dough is firm and slightly golden on top.
11. Remove from oven and let it cool on a wire rack before serving.
