Ingredients
1 cup mayonnaise
2 tbsp sour cream
1 to 2 chipotle peppers in adobo sauce
1 tbsp adobo sauce (from the chipotle peppers can)
1 tsp lime juice
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
Salt to taste
Directions
1. In a blender or food processor, add 1 cup of mayonnaise.
2. Add 2 tablespoons of sour cream.
3. Roughly chop 1 to 2 chipotle peppers from the can and add them to the blender.
4. Add 1 tablespoon of adobo sauce from the chipotle peppers can.
5. Squeeze in 1 teaspoon of lime juice.
6. Add 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder.
7. Add 1/2 teaspoon of onion powder.
8. Blend until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
9. Taste and add salt if needed.
10. Transfer the sauce to a bowl or airtight container and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
