Chicken Nuggets: homemade recipe

Ingredients

2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp paprika
2 large eggs
1 cup breadcrumbs
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Vegetable oil for frying

Directions

1. Cut the chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces.
2. In a large bowl, mix the flour, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
3. In another bowl, beat the eggs.
4. In a third bowl, combine the breadcrumbs and grated Parmesan cheese.
5. Dredge the chicken pieces in the flour mixture until well coated.
6. Dip the floured chicken pieces into the beaten eggs.
7. Coat the egg-covered chicken pieces with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing the crumbs onto the chicken to ensure they stick.
8. Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan over medium-high heat.
9. Fry the chicken pieces in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pan, until golden brown and cooked through, about 4-5 minutes per side.
10. Transfer the cooked chicken nuggets to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
11. Serve hot.
