Romaine lettuce: 1 large head
Parmesan cheese, grated: 1/2 cup
Croutons: 1 cup
Caesar dressing:
Mayonnaise: 1 cup
Parmesan cheese, grated: 1/4 cup

Dijon mustard: 1 tsp
Worcestershire sauce: 1 tsp
Garlic, minced: 2 cloves
Anchovy fillets, minced (optional): 2

Directions
1. **Prepare the Romaine Lettuce:**
– Wash and dry the Romaine lettuce thoroughly.
– Chop the lettuce into bite-sized pieces and place them in a large salad bowl.
2. **Make the Caesar Dressing:**
– In a medium bowl, add 1 cup of mayonnaise.
– Add 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese.
– Pour in 2 tablespoons of lemon juice.
– Add 1 teaspoon of Dijon mustard.
– Add 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce.
– Mince and add 2 cloves of garlic.
– (Optional) Mince and add 2 anchovy fillets.
– Add 1/4 teaspoon of salt.
– Add 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper.
– Gradually whisk in 1/2 cup of olive oil until the dressing is smooth and emulsified.
3. **Assemble the Salad:**
– Drizzle a generous amount of Caesar dressing over the chopped Romaine lettuce.
– Toss the lettuce to evenly coat it with the dressing.
4. **Add Toppings:**
– Sprinkle 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese over the salad.
– Add 1 cup of croutons.
5. **Toss and Serve:**
– Gently toss the salad again to distribute the Parmesan cheese and croutons.
