Bloody Mary: homemade recipe

Ingredients

2 oz vodka
4 oz tomato juice
1/2 oz lemon juice
2 dashes Worcestershire sauce
2 dashes hot sauce (such as Tabasco)
Pinch of salt
Pinch of black pepper
Pinch of smoked paprika (optional)
Celery salt for the rim (optional)
Ice cubes
Lemon wedge (for garnish)
Celery stalk (for garnish)
Pickle spear (optional, for garnish)

Directions

1. Rim a highball glass with celery salt, if desired.
2. Fill the glass with ice cubes.
3. Pour 2 oz vodka into the glass.
4. Add 4 oz tomato juice.
5. Squeeze in 1/2 oz lemon juice.
6. Add 2 dashes of Worcestershire sauce.
7. Add 2 dashes of hot sauce (such as Tabasco).
8. Add a pinch of salt, a pinch of black pepper, and a pinch of smoked paprika (if using).
9. Stir the mixture gently to combine all the ingredients.
10. Garnish with a lemon wedge, a celery stalk, and optionally a pickle spear.
