Ingredients
2 cups ketchup
1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup molasses
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 tbsp smoked paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
1/4 cup water
Directions
1. In a medium saucepan, combine 2 cups of ketchup, 1/2 cup of apple cider vinegar, and 1/2 cup of brown sugar.
2. Add 1/4 cup of molasses and 2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce to the saucepan.
3. Stir in 1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard, 1 tablespoon of smoked paprika, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, and 1 teaspoon of onion powder.
4. Add 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper and 1/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper to the mixture.
5. Pour in 1/4 cup of water to the saucepan and mix all the ingredients well.
6. Place the saucepan over medium heat and bring the mixture to a simmer, stirring occasionally.
7. Reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for about 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce has thickened to your desired consistency.
8. Remove the saucepan from the heat and let the sauce cool slightly before using or storing.
